I have seen this error before on computers with HP tuners software installed. I belive the HP tuners hardware uses the same interface cjip that the D200 uses causing a driver conflict. I will try to verify the error now. I will let you know what we find.

My mistake, I was thinking of the D200 software. I will check tomorrow to see what could cause that error when loading the log viewer.

Exactly when does the error occur? Are you starting the datalog viewer from the start menu or from the D200 software? Does it happen when the software starts or when you try to open a datalog? This will help us narrow down where the problem is.

Nothing yet, We have tried several things here to reproduce the problem but have not been able to. We are hoping someone else comes across the same issue so we have some more information to help with the diagnosis. The software guys were messing with a program today that shows all DLL's a program uses. I will send it to you so that we can compare it with a known good machine to see if its helps us locate the problem.
