I noticed that it says that the xfc will tune electronic throttle. Can someone explain to me how to go about this?? I downloaded the software and manual but didn't see anything...
The statement about elctronic throttle was meant to ask what do you do if you have a modified car with electronic throttle and you want to keep it. The "How do you tune it?" question is asking how do you tune the engine, not the throttle.
This problem arises on certain vehicles with drive-by-wire. You can't replace the factory ECU with a standalone system because the drive-by-wire can't be controlled by most aftermarket systems. Your only choice is to use a piggyback computer and leave the factory stuff in place.
