New results. I swapped two plugs to the inhibitor switch that looked exactly the same and these are my results:

P= Nothing/ fail/ doesn't move

R= R Digital 2

N= Nothing/ fail/ doesn't move

D= D/ 1 digital 4

3= N/A

2= Nothing/ fail/ doesn't move

1= 1 Digital 6

Following FSM, I'm not getting good results for Neutral Position signal, no continuity. I believe the inhbitor switch plug was mixed up thus the new results. I'm 90% there!

Kellen,
I just looked at the wiring on the car we have here and there are 2 connectors that are similar. One is the solenoid connector, the other is the range sensor connector. The range sensor connector is gray and the solenoid connector is brown. Check that you have them correct.

gray to gray and brown to brown, right? Could you send me pics of all the connectors in that area because I wasn't there when the engine was installed so I'm not sure how it was connected beforehand.

Thanks for ya'lls help. The converter was bad and I have replaced it with another one. The car runs without the slippage and the calibration for the 240sx serves as a good baseline. The shifting is still slow/late, even when I paddle shift. I've turned up the line pressure a bit but there is still some delay. I do have the original A/T controller that cam with the SR. Maybe you guys can pull a calibration from it? Any recommendations?

Kellen,
Pulling the calibration off the stock is difficult. I would recommend we just make the adjustments to your current calibration.
We can start with shift firmness. Just make some notes of where the transmission shifts too soft or too hard. Example: 1st-2nd at 25% throttle. We only need a few points to correct the entire map.
For the shit points we can do a similar test. Make some notes of where you want the shifts. Example: 1st -2nd at 10% throttle shifts at 7mph and it should be around 10mph. Now that everything is working it won't take long to get it dialed in.

The problem is the delay in when I use the paddle shifter. I click to upshift and there is too long of a delay till the tranny actually shifts. I also purchased a map sensor and wiring kit from ya'll. Hopefully this will work better than the tps because the throttle is a bit touchy.

Ah, that delay is easy to fix by turning the line pressure up. I will email you the calibration we use in our 240sx when paddle shifting. The delay is very samll, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 a second.

You should have it. Switch to calibration B when in manual mode at see what you think. It should shift much quicker.

That is a very good calibration, thank you a bunch. If I wanted to convert it to MAP, how would I do it?

I can switch the cal for you or you can go to "Transmission Setup" and then "Breakpoints and configuration". There you can set your breakpoints for MAP and switch line pressure to use MAP instead of TPS. You will then need to retune the line pressure table.
