Download an install the driver located here:
http://www.powertraincontrolsolutions.com/download-file-43.html . Once you do this plug the usb to serial adaptor in. What happens? Does it give you a failed install message or show the device connected? If you go into your hardware devices in windows does it show up as a yellow triangle (improperly installed)? When in your hardware devices page, does another serial port appear when you plug the device in?
If you call PCS we can offer additional support and are often able to work on your computer remotely to diagnose problems (assuming you have a high speed internet connection). _________________ James Ballenger
