i have a brand new hpdv5000 with windows xp. i have installed everythiing that has come with the disc and still nothing is happening at all. i dont know what i am doing wrong. when i plug the usb serial adapter up to my pcs xfc and hook it up to my laptop nothing happens. i have downloaded the link off the website and everything. can you give me any sort of help??? my is300 is running rich under boost and i need to lean it out but i can't seem to get this program running on my computer.

Download an install the driver located here:
http://www.powertraincontrolsolutions.com/download-file-43.html . Once you do this plug the usb to serial adaptor in. What happens? Does it give you a failed install message or show the device connected? If you go into your hardware devices in windows does it show up as a yellow triangle (improperly installed)? When in your hardware devices page, does another serial port appear when you plug the device in?

If you call PCS we can offer additional support and are often able to work on your computer remotely to diagnose problems (assuming you have a high speed internet connection).
