Hello,
DCX has thrown in the towel on the diesel Libby for now. I own one of these and am generally happy with it except for the tranny behavior. The 545RFE transmission will not stay locked up in overdrive and it really takes a toll on mileage which was the primary reason that I purchased this vehicle. All that I'm really looking for is a way to get it to lockup on the highway and stay that way. I am thinking that your product will help me but I am not a mechanic and would like to know approximately what this unit would cost me to have installed by a mechanic and would I have a problem with Jeep concerning warranty, etc since it's brand new with only 2600 miles on it.

Thanks

I would not recommend our transmission controller for your situation. You only want to improve on feature which could be controlled by our unit but could also be controlled by other systems that only lockup the torque converter. Our transmission controller is a full standalone transmission controller that will disconnect your stock controller from the solenoids and direct control. This can cause trouble codes, tuning and generally more money and effort than is reasonable for your specific need.
