Has anyone fitted a TCU to reduce their quarter mile times and if so what kind of effect has it had?

A lot of our customers use our TCU for drag racing. The TCU can hold shifts based on wheelslip, offer a true manual mode and offer a high pressure/hard shifting "race" mode if desired.

What we usually see is a gain in ET and mph when the shift points are optimized for the engine package (as compared to a stock controller). There is also a minor gain in ET and mph from quicker shifting. The last thing is a small gain in mph from locking the converter towards the latter half of the track where the converter would otherwise have lower efficiency.
