Hi all!

I am going to swap a 6.2 diesel in place of the 350tbi in my '91 3/4T 4x4 Chev Suburban, which has the 4L80 in it. I am assuming that on a 2wd truck, all of the wiring is in one harness with only one plug going to the tranny (maybe I'm wrong?), and in my case there is a separate plug with a few wires going to the speedometer setup on the transfer case.

I was wondering if the PCS controller is able to handle the second speed sensor coming from the transfer case rather than the back of the tranny, or more specifically is there a wiring harness available for this setup?

Cheers!
Andrew

Andrew,
A normal setup has 3 plugs. One is the main transmission connector, one is vehicle speed and the other is turbine speed. Our normal harness should reach with no problem but you will need the adapter for the old style 4L80e.

Hi Russ,

Thanks very much - when I look at the price list, I can't seem to find the cost of the adapter for the old style 4L80. Am I just missing it? Could you tell me what that's worth?

Thanks again,
Andrew
