thanks Russ the last template you sent works much better it now recognises shifter position, tps ,cts,etc.It now shifts through 123d when left in D.The new problem is that i cant save any changes i make in the speedinputs/gearing chart, as soon as i close that screen down it goes back to its default settings

After typing in a number press Enter. If not the setting will go back to what it was. Also, if your connected to the unit when you press enter the unit will be updated to match the new setting.
