Would XFC work on cars without wire throttle? And can it be only used for tricking the ecu to go into open loop so i can make adjustment to the a/f mixture when my boost hits?one more thing, do i have to have a wire harness for it? or is all custome.

You can use the XFC on electronic throttle and standard throttle vehicles. It may be possible to trick the ECU into constant open loop but this would defeat much of the purpose of the XFC. You can use the XFC to tune your open loop parameters with sensor skews (map, maf, tps). You can ALSO use the XFC to tune your closed loop parameters with our o2 skew closed loop system. In short, you can tune to the Air/Fuel ratio you want even in closed loop (and under boost) so that you will have a good street tune in both open and closed loop modes. We do offer some ready-made harnesses for specific applications but at this time the XFC ships to most customers with a universal harness (included in the cost of the XFC). This XFC harness plugs directly into the XFC and the XFC comes with instructions on how to properly wire and program the XFC. If you are not confident doing these things, you should look for a good local tuning shop who can install it for you.
