TCI Automotive
Description: Based on the Fast ECU, the TCI transmission controller was not originally intended for automatic transmission control. Next to the PCS automatic transmission controller, this is the second most capable on the market but it is significantly more expensive. It is very limited and works only with a few transmissions. This automatic transmission controller does not offer control equivalent to oem systems or to the PCS automatic transmission controller.

Compushift
Description: Less capable than the PCS or TCI unit, the Compushift is both expensive and limited. The compushift unit stands out because it utilizes a handheld programmer rather than PC software as all other systems do. However, the handheld programmer is expensive and there is no other way to program the unit. The connectors are not automotive rated and this product provides only the most basic necessities for transmission control.

Baumann Electronic Controls
Description: The least capable of all the transmission controllers, the Baumannator specializes in Ford automatic transmissions. This transmission controller has only a small fraction of the options available with the PCS or TCI units and is more simplistic than any oem implementation. The connectors are not automotive rated and this product provides only the most basic necessities for transmission control.
